Flexible Electrical Conductive Materials

Flexible Electrical Conductive Materials

Flexible electrically conductive materials from PAR are used in a variety of high voltage equipment to increase dependability and increase service life. They are manufactured by impregnating a range of base materials with electrically conducting binding agents in various concentrations. As a result, virtually any desired surface resistance can be obtained.

Product groups within this range are as follows:

TYPE EWR
The EWR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for corona protection and slot filling in high voltage machines rated at 155°C (Class F). They have a resistance range from 400 - 20,000Ω/. The EWR range consists of a polyester tangled non-woven base material, giving the same mechanical strength in all directions.
TYPE ELR
The ELR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for corona protection in high voltage machines rated at 155°C (Class F). They have a resistance range from 150 - 1,500Ω/. The ELR range consists of a polyester longitudinal non-woven base material, giving greater same strength in the longitudinal than in the transverse direction.
TYPE EFR
The EFR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for corona protection in high voltage machines rated at 155°C (Class F). They have a resistance range from 400 - 5,000Ω/. The EFR range consists of a polyester non-woven thread-reinforced base material, giving high mechanical strength in the longitudinal or winding direction. The polyester threads can be shrunk if high temperatures are applied.
TYPE ESR
The ESR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for potential equalisation in measuring transformers rated at 155°C (Class F). They have a resistance range from 400 - 1,000Ω/. The ESR range consists of a polyester stretch non-woven base material, giving particularly high stretching capacity in the transverse direction.
TYPE GWR
The GWR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for corona protection and slot filling in high voltage machines rated at  155°C (Class F). They have a resistance of 1,000Ω/. The GWR range consists of a glass tangled non-woven base material, giving the same mechanical strength in all directions.
TYPE NWR

The NWR range of flexible electrically conductive materials are intended for corona protection in high voltage machines rated at 155°C (Class F). They have a resistance OF 1,000Ω/. The NWR range consists of a Nomex® tangled non-woven base material, giving the same mechanical strength in all directions.
